The process of a crackle glaze....when attempting a crackle glaze effect, on occasion the crack may open at a faster rate than others and some bleeding of the undercoat can occur. 

We do stringently check all our lamps and we allow for a tolerance of finish in the handmade process which enhances their integrity.
